Badian is a fourth-class municipality located in the province of Cebu, Philippines. As of the 2007 census, it had a population of 35,876 residents.

Matutinao, a coastal barangay located just south of Badian’s town center, is known for its stunning natural scenery, with mountain ranges rising just a few hundred meters from the shoreline. It’s most famous for the picturesque Kawasan Falls—a series of cascading waterfalls that attract tourists year-round. The area features several cottages and restaurants catering to visitors. Locals primarily earn a living through small-scale businesses, fishing, and farming.
